Customs Document Preparation

The preparation of Customs documents is usually done by a Customs Broker. Exporters must have completed Customs documents in their possession when exporting.

The Guyana Marketing Corporation (GMC) has a One-Stop Desk that prepares Customs documents for exporters. GMC brokerage fees are as follows:

The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) processing fee of $100 per document is not included in above brokerage fees.

Exporters will need to have all relevant information available, including shipping arrangements, as this information has to be inserted on the Customs document.
