... GTIS, which is working jointly with the Guyana Marketing Corporation (GMC) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) on the project, said that by January, 10,000 pounds of peppers are expected to be exported weekly at an estimated annual value of US$350,000. [more]

Figures provided by the new Guyana Marketing Corporation (GMC) indicated that 107, 632 kilograms (kg) were exported to Antigua and Barbuda over the period January to July as compared to 16, 175 kg for the same period in 2005. [more]

Aquaculture and non-traditional agriculture which were pinpointed at the Presidential Summit on Private Sector Development have been allocated funding from the Guyana Trade and Investment Support (GTIS) project of US$35,000 and US$200,000 respectively. [more]
