AGRO-PROCESSORS FORUM
The Guyana Marketing Corporation in collaboration with the Guyana Agro-Processors Association (GAPA) hosted the first inaugural Agro-Processors Forum at the International Conference Centre on the 28th March 2014 under the theme " Shaping the future of Agro-Processing in Guyana. THE GUYANA AGRO-PROCESSORS ASSOCIATION (GAPA)
The Guyana Agro-Processors Association was established in 2009 by a group of agro-processors. Presently, the association has twenty-one (21) members.
The main objective of the association is to ensure the establishment of common standards and practices among agro-processors within the Non Traditional Agricultural Sector. The association’s efforts are geared towards providing low cost financing and developing new and innovative products and packaging facilities.

Approximately forty percent of the raw materials that are used to manufacture Peppy’s products are sourced from our own farm. Our products are sold locally, regionally and extra- regionally. Presently, twenty- five persons are employed at the establishment.
Sauces are sold in various sizes including 284 ml, 340 ml, 750 ml and 1 litre. Noodles are packaged in quantities ranging from 340 and 400 grams. Seasoning and Spices are available in 25, 40 and 100 grams packets.
